has been evident by the bond of love the family has for each other.

Okeene-Funeral service for Walter John Dobrinski will be Monday, September
3, 2007at 10:00 A.M. at Zion Baptist Church in Okeene with Rev. Ken Wilcox
officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery east and south of Okeene
with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Okeene. Visitation will be
Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Sunday 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with
the family being present from 5:00 until 7:00. The casket will not be open at the
Church.
Walter John Dobrinski died at the age of 100 years on August 30, 2007. Walter
was born to August and Caroline Dobrinski on January 16, 1907, on their farm
Southeast of Okeene in Oklahoma Territory. Walter attended Fairview country
school and graduated from Okeene High School in 1927.
Walter attended the German Baptist Church (Immanuel Baptist Church) near
Loyal and put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ at the age of 11 years.
Walter married Henrietta Drebenstedt in 1938, and to this loving union were
born: Carolyn, Marylin, John, Daniel, Thomas, David, Ruth, Debra, James, and
Mark. Walter farmed Southeast of Okeene for 40 years and retired to Okeene
in 1976, at which time he became a member of the Zion Baptist Church until his
death.
Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta, and his daughter, Marylin.
Walter is survived by 9 of his children and their spouses: Carolyn and Jim
Massingill of Orange, California; John and Mary Dobrinski of Weatherford,
Oklahoma; Daniel and Jeannie Dobrinski of Fay, Oklahoma; Thomas and
LaDonna Dobrinski of Colony, Oklahoma; David and Clarissa Dobrinski of
Okeene, Oklahoma; Ruth and Kenny Spaeth of Okeene, Oklahoma; Debra and
Larry Littlejohn of Villa Park, California; James and Jannet Dobrinski of Fay,
Oklahoma; and Mark and Marilyn Dobrinski of Fairview, Oklahoma, and
numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to either the Zion Baptist Church, Okeene, or to the
Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund in Loyal through the funeral home.
