ALVA, OK.-Jack Thomas Feaster, 78, passed away at the Share Convalescent Home on Wednesday, October 10,
2007. Memorial service will be on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 4:00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church in
Hardtner, Kansas. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa, Kansas.
Jack was born on October 23, 1928 in Waco, Texas to Ferdnan Feaster and Leo Whitson Feaster. He grew up at
Claflin, Kansas and served in the Korean War. He moved to Hawaii in 1960 and returned to Kansas in 2004.
He is survived by his children; Jamie Sternberger and Dan Feaster, five grandchildren; B.J. Sternberger, Scott
Sternberger, Shannon Edwards, Tyler McNett, Katie Sternberger, one brother; Jim Feaster of Syracuse, Kansas,
two sisters; Dot Coalter of Marble, Texas, and Sue Hobbs of Lawrence, Kansas.
