Dorothy May Greb, born June 16, 1908 in Okeene, the daughter of Henry E. and Amelia Mollie Fisher
Laubach and passed away November 15, 2007 in Denver, Colorado.  Dorothy was raised in Okeene
and graduated from high school there.  She and Sam E. Greb were married in Okeene on November
9, 1929 and they had three children, Thomas, Ronald Ray and Karen Sue.  Dorothy attended Zion
Baptist Church.  In 1949, they moved to Muskogee in order for their children to attend the School for
the Blind. While living in Muskogee, Dorothy and Sam attended Central Baptist Church of Muskogee.  
During the forty-four years they lived in Muskogee, they were very active in the church, community
activities and helping friends and family.  Dorothy worked as a cook for Muskogee Public Schools for
twenty-five years before retiring.  In 1993, Sam and Dorothy moved to Denver, Colorado to be near
their daughter.

Those who preceded Dorothy in death are her husband of sixty-nine years and two sons, Thomas
and Ronald.  

She is survived by her daughter, Karen of Aurora, Colorado; grandchildren, Sherri and Cynde of
Centennial, Colorado, Jay of Aurora, Colorado and Heather of Spokane, Washington; five great
grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.  

Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Zion Baptist Church in Okeene
with Pastor Keith Rockefeller officiating. Burial will be in Bierig Cemetery where she will finally rest
next to her husband ane her son, Thomas, who died in infancy.  Arrangements are by Lanman
Funeral Home, Inc. of Okeene.
