| Loveland, Colorado, formerly Goltry - LaVera Johnson, age 86, passed away on December 26, 2007. She was born on November 25, 1921 in Goltry to Fred and Sophina Wedel. She lived in Goltry before moving to Loveland, Colorado in 1980. LaVera was a homemaker, an excellent cook and an avid walker and reader. She liked to hike in the mountains, visit the elderly, sew, and collect cups and recipes. LaVera was very devoted to all of her children and very dedicated to her son, Kirby, who has cerebral palsy. She is survived by her sons, Keith Johnson and wife, Michael of Loveland, Colorado, Klay Johnson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Kirby Johnson of Loveland, Colorado; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sisters and one brother. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Viewing and visitation with the family will be Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home in Helena. There will be a private family burial at Karoma Cemetery east of Goltry.
