Comments = For more years than I can count, I spoke to Sharon almost daily concerning orders
for our family sign company, Jack Pratt Screen-Ad Co. Sharon was always so helpful and
cheerful, and we enjoyed just visiting while orders were being filled! I could always picture
Sharon smiling, as that smile came right through the phone in her voice. I am so saddened to
learn of her death, and I will always remember what a wonderful friendship, though mostly
through the phonelines, we had. God bless you Sharon, we will miss you so much.

Comments = I worked with Sharon over 13 years ago. We have kept in touch all these years
through Birthday cards and Christmas cards. She was always bragging about her grandchildren
and all of their accomplishments. You could tell she loved them very much. She was always
interested in what was going on in my family. We didn't see each other too often after I left
work, but I knew she was only a phone call away. I was just getting ready to make out her
Christmas card, when I heard about her death. I was so sorry that I did not get to attend the
serveice. She was a special lady and I'll miss her dearly. You have my sympathy, as I can
imagine what a difficult time you must be going through right now. You are all in my prayers.

Oklahoma City-Funeral service for Sharon Ann McGinty, age 68, will be Friday,
December 14, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Okeene Mennonite Brethren Church in Okeene
with Pastor Bennet Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery with
arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Okeene. Viewing will be Thursday
from 1:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. with the family present from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M.
Sharon Ann McGinty was born on February 21, 1939 in Watonga to Volney Woodruff
and Elaine Lee Woodruff and went to be with our Lord on December 11, 2007 in
Oklahoma City. Sharon graduated from Watonga High School in 1957. She married
JaLee Burghardt on December 23, 1956. They had two children, Leigh Anne and Tim.
She married Earl Thomas McGinty on September 25, 1962 in Sidney, Iowa. They
moved to Oklahoma City in 1968. Sharon worked for Pacesetter Products. A year
later, she went to work for Neo Sign and Screen, later renamed Graphic Solutions
Group, as a Senior Customer Service Representative. She had been employed there
for the past 37 years. Sharon enjoyed being with her family very much. She loved
her children, Leigh Anne and Tim and was a loving grandmother to Brooke, Brittany
Jo, Savannah and Tyler. In addition to spending time with family, Sharon was a big
OU fan and enjoyed attending OU football games for many years. She was a Life
member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in the Lauretta Alpha Epsilon Chapter since 1972.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Leigh Anne Bisel and husband, Neal; her son,
Tim Burghardt and wife, Brenda; four grandchildren, Brooke and Brittany Jo Bisel
and Savannah and Tyler Burghardt.
Both husbands preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ringwood High School Student
Council Marquee Project through the funeral home.
