wonderful woman raised three outstanding children.  He will be missed by anyone that met him
KIOWA-Funeral service for Bob Thurman will be Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at
11:00 A.M. at the Congregational United Church of Christ with Pastor Keela
Neumann officiating.  Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery.  Arrangements
are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa, Kansas.   

Bobby Ray Thurman was born in Alva, Ok on June 7, 1938 and died on December
14, 2007 at age 69.  Bob was a farmer, husband, dad, grandpa and brother.  He is
survived by his wife, Bea, of Kiowa, sons, Greg Thurman and wife, Cheryl, Brock
Thurman and wife, Kelli, all of Kiowa and daughter; Kami Myrick and husband,
Russell of Leawood, KS.  Also surviving are six grandchildren Tanner and Jace
Thurman, Ali Thurman, and Keali, Averi and Thurman Myrick, sister; Clyda Roark
and husband, Paul of Kiowa and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Ray and Berniece Thurman and sister
Bonnie Bahe.

Memorials may be made to the Barber County Rodeo or Midian Shrine Plane of
Mercy through the funeral home.
