Amorita-Funeral service for Mae Belle Wright, age 91, will be Monday, October 1,
2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Amorita Community Church with Rev. Phil Harris officiating.
Burial will follow at Byron-Amorita Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral
Home, Inc. of Cherokee. Viewing will be at the church on Monday.
Mae Belle Wright was born June 6, 1916, in Amorita, Oklahoma. She was lovingly
raised by Walter and Mabel Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Paul Wright in 1981, and an
infant brother, Orville Arthur Stewart.
Mae Belle spent almost her entire working career as an LVN. She had the special
gift of caring for and communicating with the elderly in local nursing homes.
She is survived by her children, Walter Paul Wright of Little Rock Arkansas, Joyce
Rudene Scott of Lake Jackson, Texas and Warren Russell Wright of Grandview,
Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
