Garrett Spicer
James Garrett Spicer, son of James T. and Pauline (Fullerton) Spicer was born April 18, 1941 at
Anthony, Kansas. He passed away November 27, 2007 at the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa,
Oklahoma. Garrett was the second of three children and was raised on a farm near Hazelton,
Kansas. His family later moved to a ranch near Eureka, Kansas in his teen years and he graduated
from Eureka High School in 1959.
In 1963 he married Beverley Halsey of Kiowa, Kansas and they resided in Wichita, Kansas. There
were four children born to this union, two sons and two daughters. He was preceded in death by his
father in 1967 and his mother in 2004.
He is survived by his children, Kimberly Spicer Langley, Todd Spicer, Shane Spicer, Angela Spicer
Bailor, all of Tulsa; eleven grandchildren; one sister, Vicki Flickinger of Burton, Kansas; one brother,
Steven Spicer of Halstead, Kansas and many other relatives.
