RINGWOOD-Funeral service for Cephas H. Decker, 87, who died Sunday, July 6,
2008, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid, will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday,
July 8, 2008 at New Hopedale Mennonite Church in Meno with Pastor James
Suderman and Pastor Steve Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at New
Hopedale Mennonite Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral
Home, Inc. of Helena.

Cephas H. Decker was born on October 11, 1920 on the family farm near Lahoma,
Oklahoma, the son of Milton and Lizzie Johnson Decker.  He attended grade
school at North Pleasant Valley, one year of high school at Lahoma and then
graduated from OBA in Meno. On March 25, 1945 he married Esther Smith at
West New Hopedale Mennonite Church. They made their home south of Meno
where he was a farmer. He also owned and operated a cattle guard building
business for a number of years. He was a member of the Lions Club in Ringwood.

Cephas is survived by two children, Charlotte Weaver of Ames, Kendall Decker
of Goltry; one brother, Kenneth Decker and wife, Wanda of Meno; one sister,
Nathalie Koehn of Medford, eight grandchildren, Julianna Buller and husband
Luke, Jesse Weaver, Matthew Decker, Amy Decker and Eric Riddle, Sarah, Olivia,
John and Jeremiah Decker and one great-granddaughter, Karleigh Decker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther, his parents and one infant son.

Memorials may be made to the Ringwood Lions Club or Meno Fire Department
through the funeral home.
