| KIOWA-Amon Henry Messenger passed away November 17, 2008 in Kiowa, Kansas. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa, Kansas. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lanmanmemorials.com Born in Fletcher, Oklahoma on April 19, 1933 to James Edward Messenger and Velma Wood Messenger. Preceded in death by his parents; one brother, J.A. Messenger; four sisters, Edmarena Singletery, Clara Dunham, Maxine Davis and Desine Walker. He is survived by two daughters; Sharon Messenger and Pat Hall of Bakersfield, California, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Hubert Singletery, nieces and nephews. Burial in Throckmorton, Texas at a later date. |
