and let you know how sorry we are!!!! He was a very good friend and I will miss him. We will be
praying for you on Wednesday and in the days and weeks to come. I am sorry I am so far away and
won't be able to be at the funeral.

Meno-Funeral service for Ralph Russell will be Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at
9:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Ringwood with Rev. Brian Frable
officiating.  Burial will follow at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin at 2:00 P.M.  
Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.  Visitation will be on
Tuesday at First Baptist Church from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. with the family
present.

Ralph was born on August 19, 1920 to W.D. Russell and Cora Burgess Russell
and passed from this life on January 27, 2008 at Integris Bass Baptist Health
Center.  He graduated from Claremore High School.  He served in the U.S. Army
from 1942 until 1947.  On February 24, 1942 Ralph married Helen Pennington.  
Two children were born to this union: one daughter, Barbara and one son, Larry
Joe.  Ralph was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ringwood.  He enjoyed
sports, quail hunting, gardening, especially growing tomatoes, training bird dogs
and baking pies.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Helen of Meno; one daughter, Barbara Gotschell
and husband, Bruce; one daughter in law, Beverly Russell; five grandchildren
and five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Joe Russell; two brothers, Tom
Russell and Ted Russell; four sisters, Oleva Russell, Velma Russell, Delora
Jefferson, Virginia Cody and nieces, Ann Russell and Karen Russell Riddick.
