We just recently moved to Kiowa, and met him while registering my oldest son for high school. He made us feel so welcome to this town. That day I came to register my son, I had to walk to the school and I got so many blisters on my feet, he insisted he take me back to the house instead of trying to walk back. He was a kind-hearted man! I wish I would have had more time to know him. I heard from my son when he passed away he was watching a video the kids made him. It brings me to tears everytime I think about how much he loved those kids. Please know my prayers are with all of you during this painful time. She says that Monty used to tease her a lot when they were children. Good for him!I was on one of many prayer lists and held you all in my heart throughout your time with cancer. I have spent the past year dealing with my own cancer and was very inspired by Monty's strength and courage. God Bless you All and thank you for letting me learn from Monty. |
