KIOWA-Wilda Lois Williams passed away at the Kiowa District Hospital on Monday, May 26, 2008.  
Funeral service will be Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Kiowa
with Pastor Wayne Stephens officiating.  Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery.  Arrangements
are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa, Kansas.  

Wilda was born on June 5, 1931 at Harper, Kansas to Walter and Lela Laurie Wacker.  She
graduated as Salutatorian of her class at Argonia High School.  She lived in Harper and Cunningham
before moving to Kiowa in 1961 where she lived until the present time.  On November 11, 1949 she
and Dale Williams were united in marriage.  She was a Tupperware dealer for many years and also
sold Amway Products.  She attended the United Methodist Church and was a member of the
Womens Auxiliary.  She was wonderful at alterations and sewed for many people.  Her children,
grandchildren and great-grandchildren were all a huge part of her life.  

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dale of Kiowa;  two sons, Alvin Williams and wife,
Jackie of Damascus, Arkansas; Kevin Williams of Danville, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Londa
Fischer and husband, Eugene of Hazelton, Kansas; four grandchildren, Heather Blick of Kiowa, Elexa
Fischer of Olatha, Lindsey McMoran and husband, Cam of Coldwater, Logan Williams of Damascus,
Arkansas; four great-grandchildren; Nicole, Slater and Takira Blick, and Sam McMoran.  


Memorials may be made to the Kiowa District Hospital through the funeral home.  

Visitation at the funeral home will be on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The casket will be open at the church before the service.
