Helena-Funeral services for Mildred Murray, 96, will be held at the United
November 8, 2008 at 11:00 A.M.  Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery south
and east of Helena with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.  
until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home and before the service at the church.  

Mildred was born on June 28, 1912 near Alva to Anna and Van Summerson and
passed away peacefully at Great Plains Care Center in Helena on November 5,
2008.  Mildred married Arthur Murray on December 25, 1928, and they made their
home near Helena at that time.  She worked at the school lunch room, the
Percolator Café and the nursing home doing cooking and cleaning.  She was a
faithful member of the Helena Christian Church.  Her hobbies included quilting
and cooking, and she was well known in the community for her skills in both of
these areas.

Survivors include one son, Harold Murray and wife, JoAnn of Yukon; three
daughters, Erma Boston of Helena, Anna Horn and husband, Jerry of Stillwater
and Cathy Meyer and husband, Bob of Helena; eight grandchildren, Sue Kassik
and husband, Tom, Linda Payne and husband, Mitch, Debbie Morton, Justin
Murray and wife, Cindy, David Horn and wife, Betsy, Marnie Horn, Tony Meyer
and wife, Mechelle and Sherri Meyer; ten great grandchildren; four great-great
grandchildren.

Those who preceded Mildred in death include her husband, Arthur in 1970; one
daughter, Eva Hagen; her parents; one grandson, Mitchell Meyer; two brothers;
one sister and two sons-in-law.

Memorials may be given to the Christian Church in Helena or Hospice Circle of
Love through the funeral home.
