| at 10:00 A.M. at the First Church of the Nazarene in Cleo Springs with Pastor Jim Burggraf and Pastor Larry Bradford officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery southwest of Aline with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Viewing will be Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.lanmanmemorials.com. Gene was born in Satanta, Kansas on July 25, 1932 to Earl Anderson and Doris Pearce Anderson and passed from this life on November 30, 2009 at his home in Cleo Springs. He moved from Hugoton 25 years ago. Gene married Marilyn Anthony in Hugoton, Kansas. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Cleo Springs. Gene was a carpenter for T.H. Rogers and did maintenance at the Landcrest Apartments, both in Fairview. He was an avid pool player at Fairview Senior Center and loved to hunt and fish. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Gregory Dean. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Cleo Springs; three sons, Randy Anderson, Jerry Anderson and wife, Carol and Gary Anderson; two stepsons, Larry Chandler and Bobby Chandler and wife, Lynette; one step daughter, Evelyn Chandler; five grandchildren, Jason and Carol, Karla and Devon, Nyssa and Sam, Ernie, Marcie; three great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Treasa, Breanna. Memorials may be given to the funeral home on behalf of the family. |
