| CLEO SPRINGS-Leroy Beckwith,75, passed away on October 15, 2009 at Cherokee Manor. Funeral service will be Monday, October 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cleo Springs Christian Church with Pastors Roy Wahlgren and Dan O’Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery at Aline. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena, Oklahoma. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lanmanmemorials.com Leroy was born on January 7, 1934 northwest of Cleo Springs to Merl and Thelma McBride Beckwith. He attended and graduated from Cleo Springs High School. He served in the United States Army. Leroy was a retired cattle buyer and a lifetime resident of Major County. He attended the Cowboy Church near Enid. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Esther Patzkowski. He is survived by his wife, Linda; two children, Alan Beckwith and wife, Carla and Sharon Maul and husband, Wayne all of Cleo Springs; one granddaughter, Ashlee Beckwith and four nieces. Memorials may be made to the Cleo Springs First Responders through the funeral home. The casket will be open at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p. m. and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church before the service. |
