| KIOWA-Cindy Denton, 38, formerly of Woodward, Ok. passed away on December 10, 2009 in Kiowa, Ks. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kiowa Congregational Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa, Ks. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lanmanmemorials.com Cindy Kae (Riedel) Denton born December 22, 1970 in Kiowa, Ks. to Rex Riedel and Virginia Tidwell-Stark. She graduated from South Barber High School with the class of 1989. She attended NWOSU and graduated in 1994 with a degree in Education. On July 8, 1995 she and Bill Denton of Woodward, Ok. were united in marriage. They were blessed with a little girl, Riley Hunter Denton on December 1, 1996. Cindy taught first grade in Midwest City for one year, then moved to Woodward where she taught fourth grade at Cedar Heights Elementary and the last two years she taught Special Ed. which truly was her love and passion. Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Gail Riedel and Dewey and Betty Tidwell. Cindy is survived by her daughter, Riley; parents, Rex Riedel, Bob and Virginia Stark; sister, Ginger and husband, Ray Strutton. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association through the funeral home. Visitation will be Monday, December 14, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. |
