| Homestead-Graveside service for Floyd Henry Hanson, Jr., 65, will be Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Homestead Cemetery with Pastor Lonnie Ott officiating. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Okeene. Viewing will be Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. Memories may be shared with the family at www.lanmanmemorials.com. Floyd was born on October 26, 1943 to Floyd H. Hanson, Sr. and Ruby M. Outhier Hanson in Okeene and passed from this life on January 5, 2009 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid. Floyd had lived in this area all of his life. He was a farmer and inspector for the State Fire Marshall’s Office. He was a member of the Homestead Bible Church. He loved to dance and play golf. Floyd lived his life to the fullest, doing the things he enjoyed most. Floyd is survived by his mother, Ruby Hanson; two sons, Warren and Duane; one daughter, Veronica; one brother, Harold Hanson; one sister, Sherry Hanson; three grandchildren, Christopher, Heather and Michael. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Hanson, Sr. and one brother, Dennis. Memorials may be given to Homestead Bible Church through the funeral home. |
