2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church in Okeene with Father Prabhakar
Kalivela officiating.  Rosary will be Sunday, March 1 at 6:00 P.M. at Lanman Funeral Home Chapel in
Okeene. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery northeast of Okeene with arrangements by Lanman
Funeral Home, Inc. of Okeene.  Viewing will be on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. and
Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until the Rosary.  Memories may be shared with the family at www.

Alma Gertrude Johannesmeyer, 90, was born Alma Gertrude Luetkemeyer on May 29, 1918 to
William and Katherine (Gruber) Luetkemeyer in Okeene and died on February 26, 2009 at Okeene
Municipal Hospital. She attended St. Mary’s Parochial School in Okeene.  Alma married Steve
Johannesmeyer on October 3, 1942.  She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and the
Altar Society in Okeene.    Alma was an avid football fan, a gifted seamstress, a gardener and a great
cook.  She loved playing bingo.  Alma was a member of the 1933 Oklahoma State Championship
Basketball Team from St. Mary’s High School in Okeene.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; three sisters and three brothers.

Alma is survived by five children, Judy Voigt and husband, Ken of Scottsdale, Arizona, Patricia Nye of
Tulsa, Paul Johannesmeyer and Teri of Okeene, Tommy Johannesmeyer and wife, Jana of Okeene
and Danny Johannesmeyer and wife, Teri of Okeene; sixteen grandchildren, Mark and Laura Voigt of
Scottsdale, Arizona, Jeff and Sarah Voigt of Phoenix, Arizona, Lindsay Nye , Jared Nye, Jennifer Nye
all of Tulsa, Keri and Matt Bright of Sweetwater, Texas, Dana Johannesmeyer of Enid, Heather
Becker of Okeene, Crystal and Mike Hippard of Guthrie, Waylon Becker of Norman, Ryan
Johannesmeyer and fiancé, Taryn Evans of Alva, Derek and Alec Johannesmeyer of Okeene,
Michael and Andrea Travis of Broken Arrow, Matt Travis and Kelly of Highland Ranch, Colorado,
Crystal and Cody Privette of Fairview; seven great grandchildren, Reese Voigt, Arden Voigt of
Scottsdale, Arizona, Garrett Voigt of Phoenix, Arizona, Kyra Lea Johannesmeyer of Enid, Jerry Travis
and Lilian Travis of Broken Arrow and Emma Travis of Sallisaw;  two sisters, Roseleen Iverson of
Enid and Julia Ann Ellis of Wister.

Memorials may be given to the St. Anthony’s Altar Society through the funeral home.
