KIOWA-Audrey Naomi (Campbell) Lamkin was born in Woods County, Oklahoma on January 30, 1924
to Eustace Campbell and Dora Miller Campbell and passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the
Kiowa Hospital District Manor at the age of 85. Graveside service will be Wednesday, March 18, 2009
at the Hardtner-Elwood Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Gib Clark officiating.  Arrangements are by
Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa, Kansas.  Condolences may be shared with the family at

Audrey attended the Hardtner school system, graduating in 1942.  She married Floyd L. Lamkin on
June 21, 1946.  She was a homemaker, an excellent cook and seamstress. Audrey especially
enjoyed attending her school and family reunions. She was a lifelong area resident and grew up in
Hardtner.  She worked at the Achenbach Hospital, The Sweet Shop, and Parkers Grocery.  She had
retired early due to arthritis.  She entered the Kiowa Manor eleven years ago.  
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Lee; one brother, Lloyd Campbell.  
She is survived by her son, Robert and his companion, Donna Abbott of Kiowa; her sister, Verna Lee
Lawson and husband, Vane of Kiowa; sister-in-law, Veda Campbell of Kingman, Kansas, four step
grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hardtner Alumni Association or Hardtner
Community News or Hardtner Senior Citizen Center through the funeral home.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
