| Goltry-Funeral service for Frances Page, 93, will be Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. at the Goltry Congregational UCC with Rev. Jane Ho officiating. Burial will be at Karoma Cemetery east of Goltry with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Casket will be open at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. and before the service at the church. Condolences may be made to the family at www.lanmanmemorials.com Frances Rosella Conyers Page was born on November 12th, 1915 at Knowles, Oklahoma to John Earl Conyers and Verla Tharp Conyers and passed from this life on January 23, 2009 at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid. She moved to Goltry with her parents when she was eight years old and became a member of the Goltry Christian Church when she was thirteen. She graduated from Goltry High School in 1932. She married Orville Oren Page on October 7th, 1934 and three children were born to this union: Julia Ann, Terry and Mickey. Frances worked as a cook for the Goltry schools for several years. She also worked as business office manager for Montgomery Ward in Enid, Poughkeepsie, New York and retired from Oklahoma City in 1973. After her retirement she returned to Goltry and sold Avon products. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Lock Lomand Club, MWG Club, Bridge Club and Senior Citizens. She also loved to garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Oren Page; her mother, Verla Frances Tharp Conyers and her father, John Earl Conyers. Frances is survived by one daughter, Julia Ann King and husband, Rick of Glendora, California; two sons, Terry Page and wife, Mary of Goltry, Mickey Page and wife, Rose Ann of Laverne, California; ten grandchildren; W.F., Kevin, Erick, Janine, Robin, Brandy, Kelli, Terri, Mary Frances and Kristi; twenty-five great-grandchildren; Dalton, Kyler, Lisa, Taylor, Benjamin, Aiden, Ryan, Nicole, Sidney, Katlyn, Hannah, Joshua, Kyle, Michael, Lauren, Nicole, Allie, Chris, Victoria, Isabella, Tanya, Kevin Jr., Nicholas, Leah and Thor; one great grandchild, Ethan. Memorials may be to the Karoma Cemetery Association through the funeral home. |
