Comments = I can remember one time late into the night I was driving back from a Western Belles
practice with Julie Clark.  We were heading north out of Cherokee pulling the two-horse trailer.
Someone was following too close with bright headlights on which blinded me, causing me to hit a
concrete bridge bannister.  I walked back down to a farmhouse and called Uncle Jerry for help because
"I had a flat tire" on the horse trailer.  When he got there, it turned out that I had two bent axles, two
busted wheel wells, and two flat tires.  He never let me forget that and we laughed over it many times
since.  He had an impact on my growing up and I have many fond memories of him.  He will be greatly
missed.
