| KIOWA-Richard “Dick” Reed, was born on October 8,1936 to Floyd James and Opal Mae Hush Reed and passed from this life on March 9, 2009 in Wichita. Graveside service will be at Riverview Cemetery on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Stephens officiating. Military honors will be performed. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa, Kansas. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lanmanmemorials.com On January 24, 1955 he and Judy Ryburg were united in marriage. Survivors include wife, Judy Reed of Kiowa, Kansas, three children; Mitch Reed of El Sequndo, California, Mark Reed and wife, Shelley of Hardtner, Kansas, Jana Genter and husband, Richard of Wichita, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Aimee, Ali, Brooke, Lana, Ray, Dallion, Tristan, Danny; five great grandchildren, Chance, Brior, Elijah, Adah, Zoe; one brother, Jim Reed of Enid, his heart donor family and many friends. In lieu of flowers family requests donations to American Heart Association. Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. |
