| Goltry-Funeral service for Marie May Schmidt, 83, will be Monday, November 9, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant View Church of God in Christ Mennonite in Goltry with Patrick Koehn officiating. Burial will be at Karoma Cemetery east of Goltry with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Memories may be shared with the family at www.lanmanmemorials.com. Viewing will be Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with the family present 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Marie was born on December 19, 1925 to Tobias Boese and Carrie Boese in Canton, Kansas and passed from this life on November 6, 2009 at Golden Oaks Nursing Center in Enid. She married Ivan Schmidt in Eldorado, Kansas in 1948 and has lived in the Goltry area all of her married life. She is survived by her husband, Ivan of Goltry; one daughter, Shirley Hensley and husband, Dr. Manuel Hensley of Enid and one brother, Sam Boese of Dodge City, Kansas. Those preceding Marie in death include five brothers, Art, Jake, Hank, Walt and John; two sisters, Alma and Esther. |
