| Fairview-Funeral services for Joyce Ann Stewart, 74, will be Monday, March 23, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. at Fairview Nazarene Church with Rev. Chuck McKinney officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery west and south of Aline with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. Viewing will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Sunday 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home and after the service at the church. Joyce was born on September 16, 1934 in Fairview to Warren and Gertie (Lee) Stephens and died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Fairview Regional Medical Center. She grew up in Ringwood until her marriage to Leo Kopf. They resided in Southard, then moved to Canton. To this union three children were born. She later married Bill Stewart, making their home in Fairview. She is survived by her husband, Bill of Fairview; her mother-in-law, Fern Stewart of Fairview; two daughters, Doris (Kopf) Earnest of Fairview, Shirley (Kopf) Peterson and husband, Joseph of Hastings, Minnesota; one step-son, Scott Stewart and wife, Vickie of Pond Creek; two sisters, Viola Gibson and husband, Delmer of Luther, Gwenda Kinder and husband, A.J. of Warr Acres; two brothers, Roger Stephens and wife, Claretta of Fairview, Larry Stephens and wife, Ruth of Canton; two brothers-in-law, Eddie Stewart of Yale, Jimmy Stewart of Kingfisher; one sister-in-law, Doris Ludlow and husband, Darrell of Wichita, Kansas; three grandsons, Kelly Kopf of Fairview, Noe Ponce of Longdale and Erik Ponce and companion, Terri Rolfing of Hudson, Wisconsin; one granddaughter, Diana (Ponce) Greer and husband, Richard of Hitchcock; three step granddaughters, Lindsay Stewart and Shelby Stewart of Pond Creek and Lindsay Peterson of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota; one step grandson, Matthew Peterson of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota; two great grandsons, Kaylon Greer of Hitchcock and Ethan Ponce of Longdale; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Clarence Whitney; three brothers, Vernon, Lloyd and Sherman Stephens; two sisters, Lillie Warner and Carolyn Stephens; son, Warren Kopf; two step-sons, Steven Stewart and David Stewart.
