Elsie was the daughter of Rufus Gunnels Deela and Mary Margaret (Maggie) Hill Deela born June 2,
1928 in Hollis, Oklahoma.  After being raised in Southeastern Oklahoma she moved to Weatherford,
Oklahoma at the age of 16 to live with her sister, Dora.  While working as a waitress she met her
husband of 59 years, Marvin Dock Webb of Weatherford, Oklahoma.  They were united in marriage
on December 29, 1946 in Weatherford, Oklahoma.  Living there for a short time after marriage, they
relocated to Attica, Kansas where Dock was employed by the AT&SF Railroad while Elsie remained a
homemaker.  With the transfer of railroad jobs, Dock, Elsie and family relocated to Kiowa, Kansas in
1958.  During that time Elsie began working as a waitress in the restaurants of Kiowa.  The opening
of the New Kiowa Rest Home gave Elsie an opportunity to work as a Nurse’s Aid.  The training she
received enables her to work for hospitals, rest homes and private home care within several towns
in the local area which allowed Elsie to become a Certified Nurse Aid and Certified Medical Aid.  Elsie
took pleasure in playing her harmonica with her husband, embroidering pillow cases and other
items.  She enjoyed reading, studying her Bible and attending church.  Elsie was member of the
Attica Assembly of God Church in Attica, Kansas.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Gunnels Deela and Mary Margaret Hill Deela; her
husband, Marvin Dock Webb, three brothers and four sisters.

Elsie is survived by her three children; Kenneth Dearl Webb of Kiowa, Kansas, Alice Maria Davis and
husband, Clifford of Crescent, Oklahoma, Ronald Dale Webb and wife, Linda of Kiowa, Kansas, seven
grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; one sister, Katherine Bales of Wilburton, Oklahoma along
with several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Kiowa District Hospital or Hospice Care of Kansas through the funeral
home.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
