Ringwood-Funeral services for Clara Belle Farrington, 77, will be Saturday,
November 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Ringwood with Pastor
Brian Frable and Pastor David Lyons officiating.  Burial will follow at Square
Cedar Cemetery northeast of Cleo Springs with arrangements by Lanman
Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.  Memories may be shared with the family at www.   Viewing will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 until 8:
00 at the funeral home and before the service at the church.

Clara was born on September 20, 1933 near Ringwood to Leslie Simons and Ruby
Beckner Simons and passed from this life on November 1, 2010 in Enid.  Clara
graduated from Ringwood High School in 1951 and continued to live the rest of
her life in this area except for nine years that she lived in Wichita, Kansas.  
While she was in high school, she was crowned Ringwood Watermelon Queen.  
She married Harry Meister and to this union four children were born: Sheryl,
Eldon, Steve and Doug.  After Harry passed away in July, 1959, Clara married
John Conaway on August 24, 1962 and two children were born: Scott and Kelly.  
After John passed away on November 1, 1979, Clara married Bois Farrington on
March 2, 1985.  She and Bois traveled many places in different parts of the
world.   Clara sold Avon for a number of years and earned membership in the
President’s Club and also won several trips.  She was a member of the
Ringwood Wesleyan Church and currently attended First Baptist Church in
Ringwood.  She taught children’s Sunday School for several years and also
played the piano for church services.  Clara served as President of the
Ringwood Alumni Association.  Clara loved her family and cooked many, many

Survivors include her husband, Bois of Ringwood; six children, Sheryl Gard and
husband, Wendell of Carrier, Eldon Meister and wife, Linda of Chester, Steve
Meister and wife, Melinda of Ringwood, Doug Meister and wife, Linda of
Ringwood, Scott Conaway and wife, Tammie of Ringwood and Kelly Conaway and
wife, Cindy, of Ringwood; fifteen grandchildren; and thirteen great
grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters, Norma Long and husband, Jack
and Betty Suiter and husband, Burt both of Wichita.

Those who preceded Clara in death include one grandson, Matthew; one great
grandson, Jessy Mabra; one brother, Wilbur Simons and one sister, Shirley

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association through the funeral
