Funeral service for Stephen Keith Bussell II, 27, will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Enid with Pastor Wade Burleson officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.

Stephen was born on February 17, 1984 in Enid to Stephen Bussell and Beverly Cummings Bussell and passed from this life on July 24, 2011 in rural Major County.  Stephen graduated from Enid High School in 2002.  He enjoyed being creative with music.  Stephen was a very compassionate and caring person.  The love of his life was his daughter, Rylee.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Trent Teel; grandfather, J.P. Bussell; great grandparents, Walt and Audra Stebens.

Stephen is survived by his daughter, Rylee Bussell; special friend and mother of Rylee, Amy Tow; parents, Stephen and Beverly Bussell; grandparents, Lois Bussell and Gene and Cherry Cummings; one brother, Seth Bussell; one sister, Tasha Higer and husband, Jesse; one niece, Sophia Higer and one nephew, Cameron Higer.

Memorials may be given to the funeral home on behalf of the family or to Rylee’s Educational Fund through the funeral home.

Stephen was a wonderful person. Some of my fondest memories from my childhood were the times I spent with him. He impacted me greatly. I deeply regret not staying in better contact with him over the years. I am sorry for your loss and the loss of this great person. He will be missed.
