Funeral service for Frank Dale Elliott, 89, will be Friday, July 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Aline.  Burial will follow at Aline Star Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.

Dale was born on June 23, 1922 in Aline to George Elliott and Mattie Kelly Elliott and died on July 25, 2011 at his home in Aline.  He married Neva Jean Ewing and to this union five children were born.  Dale was a farmer in this area and lived here for eighty-nine years.  He enjoyed building airplanes and was one of the best mechanics around.

Survivors include five children, Darla Wahl, Pat Jeffries and husband, Mark, Mike Elliott and wife, Judy, Frank Elliott and wife, Terry, Bobby Elliott; twelve grandchildren, Crystal and Brad Carnes, Lee and Amanda Jeffries, Shalah Arrien, Kim Harris, Justin and Lanie Elliott, Chris and Misty Elliott, Cody and SamieJo Elliott, Brock Elliott, Matt Elliott, T.J. Elliott, Waylon Elliott and Charlie Elliott; nine great grandchildren, Tommy and Brittany Arrien, Kolby, Lauren and Katelynn Elliott, Haylee, Haden and Heath Elliott and Starla Elliott; one sister, Artie Rose Jones and other relatives.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Neva; three brothers and five sisters.

Memorials may be given to the Sod House Museum through the funeral home.
