and prayers at the loss of Tilford. I was remembering back when you had the Aline Cafe, LaDonna
and how he'd be in there, not always real talkative but you always knew he had a kind smile for
you when you saw him. May God keep you strong during this grieving time. Big hugs!

|Aline-Funeral for Tilford Leroy Springer will be Wednesday March 16, 2011 at 2:00
p.m. at Aline United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Heusel officiating. Burial
will follow at Aline Star Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home,
Inc., Helena. Viewing will be Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral

Tilford was born May 24, 1943 in Waynoka to Lavalley and Annamae Schlarb
Springer and passed from this life on March 13, 2011. He was raised in Alva,
attended school in Alva and graduated from Alva High School. Tilford served in
the U.S. Army. He was a butcher at one time, then was a field supervisor for
Champlin and Continental Resources for many years. Most of his life was spent
in Aline and Waynoka area. He loved traveling while working for the oil
companies, fishing and hunting. TIlford was very family oriented and enjoyed
doing things with his children and grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Keith, Kenneth, Eldon
and his sister, LaJeana
Survivors include his wife, LaDonna; his children, Tilford Carter and wife, Janet,
Allen Springer and wife, Robin, Terri Vogt and Jeanette Springer; his brother,
Rudy Springer; his sister, Laverne Cushenbery and husband, Harold;
grandchildren, Brandon Vogt, Ashley Lowe, Joshua Springer, Jeffrey Springer,
Adrian Janzen, T.J. and Brook Carter, Rachel Carter, Tiffany and Monte Barton;
great-grandchildren, Shelby, Sidney, Christian, Heath and Quinten.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or the American Lung
Association through the funeral home.
