know if you remember me or not, but my Mother was Ruby Burdick Sparks.  She passed away almost
2 years ago.  Your mother was a kind and gracious lady as I remember her.  No matter how prepared
we are, it still leaves a hole in your heart!  Thoughts and prayers are with you.  Sandy
Ringwood-Memorial service for Erma H. Burdick, age 93, will be Sunday, July 27,
at 4:00 P.M. at Lanman Chapel in Helena with Pastor Shorty Unruh officiating.    
Private burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery west of Meno with arrangements
by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.  Online condolences may be shared

Erma H. Lovingier Burdick was born on June 23, 1915 to Elmer Lovingier and
Florence Lahman Lovingier  in Ringwood and passed from this life on July 24,
2008 at Fairview Hospital.  Erma graduated from Ringwood High School in 1934.  
She married Carl Burdick on September 15, 1934 in Enid.  Erma was a PBX
operator for DuPont in Washington and worked in the Motor Pool driving
officers at Vance Air Force Base in Enid.   She also worked in several cafes in
Ringwood.  Erma traveled with her husband, Carl, whose construction work took
them to California, Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado.   Carl retired in 1962 and
they returned to Ringwood and bought Erma’s parents home.  Erma was baptized
into the Friends Church in Ringwood at an early age.  She was a member of the
Rebecca Lodge.

Erma is survived by two daughters, Dona Jantzen of Ringwood and Benita
Siegler and husband, Richard of Alexander, Arkansas; five grandchildren, nine
great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; one granddaughter, Rita
Jantzen; four sisters, Glendene, Gracie, Avis and Viva and one brother, Carl.

Memorials may be given to Oklahoma Bible Academy in Enid or the M.A.R.C.
Senior Center in Ringwood through the funeral home.
