Kenneth, son of Lester and Ada (Ross) Rexroat, was born south of McWillie,
Oklahoma on February 12, 1926 and passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 at
Integris Bass Hospital, Enid.

He attended Round Grove Country School and graduated in 1944 from Helena
High School.  Kenneth married his high school sweetheart, Nadine Maypole, on
February 5, 1946, and one week later he left for the Army – serving as Private 1st
Class at Camp Hood, Texas and Fort Sill, Oklahoma.  After his honorable
discharge, the couple began farming south of Helena.

As a member of a farming family, Kenneth was 11 when he began driving an old
Fordson tractor in the fields.  An excellent farmer for 58 years, he took pride in
the quality of his crops, baling for others, and caring for his cattle.  In addition to
farming, Kenneth also worked for Sprague Electric, Helena School for Boys, and
Sturgeon’s Corner. He helped construct Helena’s sewer system.  Kenneth and
Nadine moved to Enid in 1997.

Kenneth and Nadine were blessed with three daughters, who changed their
lives overnight.  Kenneth loved helping them with show calves and teaching
them how to become good tractor drivers.  Once he farmed less, Kenneth truly
enjoyed his hobby of competively pulling with John Deere antique tractors,
winning many trophies.

An active member of the Helena community, Kenneth served on the boards of
Helena-Goltry Schools and Helena Co-op and also served on several Helena
Christian Church committees.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Nadine, of the home, daughters: Rosalie
Clampitt of Conroe, Texas, Jan Wells and husband Gary of Edmond, Oklahoma,
and Jeanne Stewart of Dexter, Missouri, a sister, Loretta Ball of Enid, sister-in-
law and brother-in-law, Georgia and Kennett Ball of Enid, grandchildren: Emalie
Eaton and husband Chris of Spring, Texas, Amy Tilley of Prairie Village, Kansas,
Evan Dowers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Erron Dowers and wife Tina of
Lewisville, Texas, Adam Gagnon of Jones, Oklahoma, Andrew Gagnon of Prairie
Village, Kansas, Hunter Hall of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Julianna Clampitt of
Bellaire, Texas, four great-grandchildren: Hailey and Brandon Eaton, Avery Tilley
and Taylor Dowers, and other relatives and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ernest Rexroat, brother-
in-law Bill Ball, nephew Steven Ball, Pearl Weedman, whom Kenneth and Nadine
cared for over 18 years, and Kenneth’s beloved dog Reba.
