| Aline-Funeral service for Carole Lavern Stuck, age 92, will be Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 2:30 P.M. at Cleo Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Barnwell officiating. The casket will be open at the church on Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until service time. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery west and south of Aline. Lavern was born on October 26, 1917 to Frank Leroy Hood and Alice May Woods Hood and passed from this life on April 29, 2010 at Fairview Fellowship Home. Lavern married Charles Stuck on November 15, 1946 in Winfield, Kansas. They had two sons, Cecil and Steve. Lavern was a member of the Cleo Springs Baptist Church. Lavern is survived by two sons, Cecil and Steve Stuck; three sisters, Juanita Osbourn, Lula Andrews and Dixie Hamen; four grandchildren, Steven Stuck II, Timothy Stuck, Bryon Stuck and Michael Stuck; seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; one daughter, Charleen; her parents; three brothers, Orley Hood, Eldon Hood and Johnny Hood; three sisters, Virginia Reed, Eula Burns and Vola Kenny. Memorials may be given to the Charles and Lavern Stuck Monument Fund through the funeral home. |
