Betty Feely

Doris was born on June 17, 1936 to Leslie Veril Neilson and Opal Luella Estes Neilson and passed from this life in Cherokee on June 12, 2018.  Doris spent all of her life in the Manchester, Oklahoma, Waldron, Kansas and Cherokee, Oklahoma areas.  She married Horace Clyde Feely on May 9, 1952.  Her life consisted of running the Grandma’s Place Daycare, taking care of numerous children.  All of her life she was raising children or taking care of other children as she had her own children in school for forty-three consecutive years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Clyde Feely; her parents, Leslie and Opal Neilson; her brothers, Jimmie Neilson and Lester Neilson; granddaughter, Kristy Feely; nephews, Johnnie Hess, Scot Neilson and Leslie Neilson; niece, Trica Hess and great grandson, Joe Brown.
