Craig Michael Colson

March 27, 1964  -  July 9, 2018

Enid-Craig M. Colson, 54, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid.  He was born March 27, 1964 in Dodge City, Kansas to Willis and Peggy (Cook) Colson.  He was a 1982 graduate of Burlington High School and went on to graduate from Northern Oklahoma College and Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in social work.  Craig had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, often using humor to get his point across.  His work focused on enhancing the lives of people with special needs.  Craig truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; visiting with friends and family, reading or catching the latest “Marvel” action movie.

He is survived by his parents, Willis and Peggy Colson; brother, Nick Colson and wife, Renee; sister, Jill Haub and husband, Troy; two nephews, Docker and Declan Haub; Uncle Mike Cook and wife, Rhonda, as well as other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family, friends and others, whose lives Craig touched, are invited to a Celebration of Life service at Lanman Funeral Home, 1305 South Grand in Cherokee at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 to reminisce, support each other and of course, just visit.  Please join us as we celebrate a life well lived.

Memorials may be given to Burlington Education Foundation through the funeral home.  www.lanmanmemorials.com  Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
