Geneva Scheffe

January 23, 1932 — May 12, 2019

Geneva was born to Henry and Hilda Lorenz on their family farm north of Okeene and passed away in Perry Green Valley Nursing Home.  She attended Deep Creek and Okeene Public Schools.  She married Eldon Scheffe on May 28, 1950.  They had one child, Karen, and made their home east of Okeene.

Grandma Jean is survived by her daughter and her husband, Karen and Haden Hendricks; grandchildren, Becky and Russell Oswald and Autumn Hines.  She was also blessed with five great-grandsons, Kaden, Blane, Jakai, and twins, Roman and Silas, all of Stillwater; her brother and his wife, Les and Ada Laverne Lorenz of Enid; sister-in-law, Sandy Lorenz of Okeene as well as several nieces and nephews.

Passing before her were her parents, Henry and Hilda Lorenz; her husband, Eldon Scheffe and brother, Gerald Lorenz.
