Lisa Crow

Wichita, KS

Lisa Renee Crow was born in Kiowa, Kansas on July 8, 1964.  Her parents are Linda Carey Vossberg and the late Merle L. Crow.  Lisa was born with Down’s Syndrome.  She always had a bubbly personality and enjoyed life.  Lisa was a member of the First Christian Church of Kiowa.  Lisa lived in multiple places during her life.  After leaving home, she lived in Medicine Lodge, where she attended Arrowhead West.  She moved to Rapid City, South Dakota to be near her mother, where she attended the Black Hills Workshop.  She loved the Black Hills Workshop art department and was named the Artist of the Year after painting a sunflower picture.

Lisa returned to Kansas with her mother and lived in McPherson, where she attended Multi Community Diversified Services.  She was living in Wichita at the time of her death and was attending Arrowhead West.

Lisa loved to spend time with her grandparents!  Her Grandma Crow taught her how to embroidery.  Lisa embroidered tea towels and quilt blocks, then Grandma Crow pieced together the blocks to make a quilt.  She loved good food, especially Grandma Carey’s cooking!

Lisa is survived by her mother, Linda of Wichita; her sisters, Dawn Morrow (Brian) of Colwich, and Leigh An Coplin (Erik) of Winter Springs, Florida; nephews, Austin Morrow (Megan) of Winfield, and Tyler Morrow of Colwich; nieces, Gracie and Allie Coplin of Winter Springs, Florida.

These preceding her in death include her father, Merle L. Crow; her step father, Jerry Vossberg; her grandparents, Leonard and Edna Carey ad Clarence and Grace Crow.

A graveside service for Lisa will be Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Kiowa.  www.lanmanmemorials.com  Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.

Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Kiowa or to Arrowhead West, Inc. in Wichita through the funeral home.
